Adrianna Richardson: My name is Adrianna Richardson. Many people know me by my smile. I received my Bachelor’s degree in English at the University of Riverside and am currently in my California Teaching Credential program. This is my second school year working at Crossroads Christian School. Last school year I was a Substitute Facilitator which I truly enjoyed. This year my love for teaching has grown by becoming an Associate Facilitator for the Kindergarten Team. It is wonderful how I can share God’s Word and impact the lives of so many students. I have been serving at Crossroads Christian Church for 10 years. My favorite Bible verse is “’For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future”. Jeremiah 29:11. I am beyond blessed that God chose Crossroads Christian School to be part of my future.  God Bless, Ms. Richardson

Annette Montez: “Hello! My name is Annette Montez. I recently graduated from California State University, Long Beach. Which is where I am from! I graduated with a bachelor’s in Liberal Studies with a 4.0GPA. Currently I am still working on my California Teaching Credentials, which I will obtain by next fall. I have always been around children my entire life and I knew God blessed me with a passion for teaching. My mother owned an at home daycare which catered to children between the ages of newborn to middle school age. I also volunteered within the Children’s Life Department at Long Beach Memorial Hospital where I helped many of the children patients throughout their time there. Throughout my time in college, I would volunteer any extra time to assisting teachers in many elementary schools within the Long Beach Unified School District. I love God and I am humbly following His plan and lead into this career opportunity. I have so much I want to learn about teaching, and I am excited to see where else God places me in my life! I can’t wait to see more of God’s beautiful work here at Crossroads!”

Sara Frizelle: My name is Sara Frizelle and I am one of the Associate Facilitators for the First Grade team! My passion in life is to love the Lord and love His people, and what better way to do so than to teach? I taught for two years in the Alvord Unified School District as a TK and Kindergarten music teacher. During that time I realized I wanted to pursue teaching full time. I am graduating from CBU in June with my Bachelor’s in Christian Ministry and currently lead worship at Crossroads Christian Church. In August I will be staring at HIU and begin my journey to obtain a Masters in Education and a California Teaching Credential! I love working at Crossroads Christian Elementary School because I love that the foundation of every day and the foundation of every Facilitator’s heart is God. The environment at Crossroads is inspiring and encouraging and always begins and ends with Jesus. It is an honor to be a small piece in the work and love being poured into the learner’s lives and hearts! God Bless you all, Ms. Frizelle

Lacey Hitchcock:  Hello everyone, I am Lacey Hitchcock! I am currently a 3rd grade Associate Facilitator and blessed with the opportunity to serve learners at Crossroads Christian School. I have been attending Crossroads Christian Church since I was around the age of 10, and I have adored the church and the environment that Crossroads brings. I was excited for the opportunity to interview for this position at CCS and looked forward to seeing where God was taking me in this season of life. I have always been fascinated by teaching and making a difference in a young child’s life. I am also passionate about bringing the Word of God into the classroom. I am currently in the last year of my undergrad work with Boise State University. I will be continuing with my California Teaching Credential program at Hope International University and am excited to continue into the career of education. Furthermore, I am at Crossroads to fulfill my purpose and passion of serving the Lord within the learning environment. God Bless, Ms. Hitchcock

Reece Turner:  Hello Crossroads family! My name is Reece Turner or as the kids call me, Ms. Turner. I am the Associate Facilitator for the 2nd grade Team and have loved my journey here so far! I was drawn to working at Crossroads because I attended Crossroads Christian Middle School in the past and loved the atmosphere. Being a God-first school has always been my favorite thing about Crossroads and how everyone is like family. I am very passionate about technology and integrating it in the classroom. I completed my coursework at California State University for a BA in Film. I am currently enrolled in my last course at CSUF for a 2nd bachelors degree in advertising. In my spare time I enjoy creating videos, walking my dogs, and hanging out with my family. May the Lord bless you, Ms. Turner

Jana Mitchell: “Trust in the Lord with all your Heart” Proverbs 3:5  Hi, My name is Jana Mitchell and I am blessed beyond measure to serve on the campus of Crossroads Christian School.  Early on, I knew my greatest joy came from children.  Starting with my own children, years of teaching Sunday School, and most recently serving at the Children’s Center on the campus of CSUF confirmed my passion for young children.  Praying for, encouraging, having patience, and listening to them are essential skills that the Spirit has grown in me as I served in this capacity.  I’m trusting Him to continue the work He has begun in me here at Crossroads as I passionately serve Him. Blessings, Mrs. Mitchell
