Dear Crossroads Christian Preschool Families,

The full weight of the COVID-19 pandemic will soon be felt in our area and your family’s holistic well-being matters to us!  That’s why we’re going to follow the recommendation of The State of California and Crossroads Christian Preschool will remain closed until at least May 21st.

Please know any scheduled tuition payments for May will be removed in FACTS. Regarding the last two weeks of tuition for March, families have the option to either apply their past payment as a credit towards the 2020/21 school year or receive a refund. To let us know your preference or if you have questions, please send an email tostudentbilling@crossroadsschool.org.

Crossroads Christian School remains committed to staying in close contact throughout this season. You are valued partners of the Crossroads family and we want to continue being an effective resource for you and your family during these ever-changing times.

Please let us know if you or anyone in your home has been directly affected by COVID-19, or if you have any other prayer needs.  Email us at xrexecutiveadmin@crossroadsschool.org or give your Facilitator your requests and we will be honored to pray for you.

We administrators are praying for God’s protection over you according to Psalm 91:1-6, 14-16:

Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; He is my God, and I trust Him.  For He will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease. He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection. Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day. Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday. The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love Me. I will protect those who trust in My name. When they call on Me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. I will reward them with a long life and give them My salvation.”

Thank you so much for your patience, trust, and grace as we navigate through this COVID-19 pandemic together. We want to keep you well-informed and up-to-date as we understand where we are, what you need and how we can help. In that spirit, we hope that this letter will provide some clarity regarding preschool tuition payments for March, April, and May.

The initial communication noted that you would not be responsible for preschool tuition for the duration of the preschool closure and this remains true. FACTS processed payments for March prior to the closure, which was outside of our control. In response to this, payments made for the final 2 weeks of March, will be applied as a credit towards your first payment once we return to campus. The proper adjustments have been made within FACTS to ensure that you will not be charged again until we reopen and your credit is applied.

We appreciate your partnership and understanding during these times. Our team is committed to continuing to offer support for you and your Learners during this season to keep them engaged and activated. Each preschool family will receive a Weekly Parent Newsletter, full of information to keep you activated with your preschooler. Plus, a Weekly News communication will be sent from your child’s teacher, along with some fun challenges to remain connected until they can once again be in the classroom together. We hope you find the resources and ideas in our weekly newsletters stimulating and helpful!

Please send pictures of your Learners engaging in these activities and any messages or stories to preschooloffice@crossroadsschool.org and let us know if we can use them in future communications and publications. We love to see those joyful little faces!

Our administration continues to coordinate efforts with Riverside University Health Systems-Public Health (RUHS-PH), as well as federal and state agencies, related to the rapidly changing COVID-19 novel coronavirus pandemic. These are uncharted waters and we appreciate your patience and understanding.

We have no information indicating that we have, or have had, on our campus any individual infected with COVID-19, but the safety and health of your family is a top priority for us.

Because of this, and unless things change, our Preschool will be closed from March 16th through at least April 3rd. Preschool families will not be billed for tuition for the duration of this closure. 

During this closure, your Preschool Facilitator will support you with resources to help keep your learners engaged and connected. Further detail on this plan will be provided to you via email, Monday, March 16th by 3pm.

Though our offices will be closed to the public, we will respond to calls and emails received before 3pm on the same business day. You can count on us to alert you via email as we receive new information that may impact your family. All updates and answers to frequently asked questions, including a list of postponed and cancelled events and programs, will be posted on our website.
