Mrs. Mitchell has called Corona her home for the past 22 years. Between her and her husband, they have been blessed with a blended family of 5 grown children and 3 precious grandchildren.

After spending several years working with Nordstrom and on the campus of CSUF, she never thought she would find so much joy in “work”. Her first few days with the Kindergarteners confirmed she was at “home”. Not only is she blessed beyond measure to serve at Crossroads, she gets to serve alongside her husband, Mr. Mitchell, a Middle School Facilitator.

Mrs. Mitchell was fortunate to have educators all around her growing up, and has valued educators deeply. Mrs. Mitchell’s father served as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, superintendent as well as a member of the board of education. Watching her father serve, spending hours with teachers over the years as well her own childrens teachers has given her a deep appreciation for education.

What does a God-first school mean to her? Mrs. Mitchell feels a God-First School means exactly that – God First. Everything else, secondary. Truly, if He is first in all we do, everything else will work out. TRUST. After much prayer, going to Him for direction and discernment, leading by example, and the best part – able to pray with our learners, we can’t go wrong!
