M.Ed. – University of Redlands
Ms. Aguirre is the mother of two boys: Roen (6) and Sage (3). This is her second year facilitating at Crossroads, yet she has been in education for 6 years. She has also been a member of Crossroads church for over 16 years and currently serves on Sunday mornings as a team lead for the preschool area. In her free, time she loves to go hiking and camping with family and friends.
Ms. Aguirre’s passion for education comes from the desire to show learners that just because they are not good at something right away, does not mean they cannot be great at it with time, dedication and work-ethic. She believes that learning this concept early can set the learners up for success in college and beyond.
What does a God-first School mean to her? For Ms. Aguirre, a God-First School means putting God first in everything we do. Focusing on His word in the morning, praying before making decisions, leaning on Him for all things and integrating Biblical truths into every aspect of learning, because all things come from Him.
