Mrs. Fanelli has been married for fourteen years and has three boys: Jonah (12), Levi (10), and Micah (8). She has had over twelve years of experience in ministry as a children’s director and over five years of experience teaching at Crossroads. In her free time, she loves to write and craft.

Mrs. Fanelli loves to help learners discover their gifts, talents, and passions. Her favorite moment is when a learner has that “aha” moment where they discover something about the content, themselves, or their faith.

Mrs. Fanelli believes education should teach through experience and connections, never simply memorization. Learners should always be challenged to engage with the content and find real-world connections, all while being able to see how their own God-given gifts and abilities can be used in learning, as well as in their future endeavors.

What does a God-first School mean to her? A God-first School is one that puts God in all content areas, valuing learners, and their well-being in all areas: academic, emotional, social, mental, and spiritual. It is one where learners are challenged to see God through all things, to experience God’s love and exhibit His love every day.
