M.Ed – National University
Hello! My name is Stephanie Hernandez and I am a first-grade facilitator here at Crossroads Christian School. This is my second year teacher at Crossroads, but I have been in education for 5 years. I received my bachelors degree at California Baptist University and from there I received my teaching credential and masters in special education at Nation University.
Ms. Hernandez’s passion for education started when she was very young. She always knew that she wanted to teach children. She felt like God had a calling for her to teach elementary level and as soon as she was able to start college, She went straight into taking courses to become a teacher. She loves to watch children grow and teach them to love learning!
What does a God-first School mean to her? Teaching at a God-First School means so much more than just being able to come and teach. Being able to teach at a school where I can share my love for God with others and my learners is life changing. As a first grade facilitator, it is such a joy to see all the learners eye glow or jaws drop when they learn how magical and powerful our God is. A God-First school lets us embrace academics, but most importantly God.
