The Local Missions Team will continue the tradition of serving right here at home! This team will serve for five days during school hours, partnering with CCC’s GO office and other local ministries. We will also use one of our days to program a VBS for kindergarten classes. The goal for this team is to introduce learners to being on mission and develop a heart for serving others in the community around them.
In partnership with the Dream Center NYC, our New York Mission Team will serve the communities of Chelsea, East Harlem, and Hamilton Heights through gospel-centered events and serving opportunities. The Learner part of this team must be mature, have a deep understanding of the gospel and how it’s impacted their life, be flexible, take direction well, and work excellently with other people on their team.
Team description: The Los Angeles team will be partnering with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) LA. Our team will work with the staff through street evangelism, food pantry ministry, park and local business clean up, kids ministry, and more as we help meet the needs of the LA people with the gospel of Jesus. Those who are part of this team need to be individuals who are mature, flexible, supporting, encouraging, Godly, and willing to be used by God at any given moment. This team has the unique opportunity to travel to and from Los Angeles using the Metrolink train system, and then will be bussed around to our different ministry locations. We’re ready to spread the love of Jesus to Los Angeles!
