MANY PRAYERS FOR OUR CCS FAMILIES AND STAFF DURING THIS FLU, COVID SEASON:

  • We understand many families are experiencing flu & cold symptoms and are being very cautious.  We appreciate your diligence.
  • Due to the increase of flu, covid, and quarantine time for our learners, families and staff. We encourage you to make sure you’ve checked your symptoms before coming to school.

INFORMATION FROM OUR CAMPUS SAFETY DIRECTOR

The health of our CCS community is a high priority and thank you for partnering with us in keeping our community healthy. Please make sure that you are assessing your learning and conducting a health check before dropping your learner off at school. Please have your learner stay home if:

  1. They have any covid like symptoms (fever, headache, vomiting, body aches, loss of taste and smell, sore throat)
  2. Severe allergies (extreme headache, stuffy nose with mucus, severe cough)
  3. If your learner has been exposed to someone who tested positive (family, friends, sports team, etc)
  4. If someone tested positive in their immediate household (Some who shares a living space with your learner: kitchen, living room, bathroom, etc)
  5. If you are testing your learner to see if they have Covid. (Please wait until you receive a negative result before bringing them back to avoid exposing others)
  • If your learner is showing symptoms of illness, please keep them home until they are 24hrs illness/symptom free without any medications.
  • If your learner has been exposed or tests positive for Covid, they will need to quarantine for 5 days from the date of exposure or positive reading.
  • If your learner is experiencing allergies that are causing them to constantly touch their mouth or face and becomes a distraction to them throughout the day, please consult with your doctor.
  • If you have any questions regarding Covid, please contact Monique Garcia mgarcia@crossroadsschool.org.

NEW BALANCE LIMITS FOR CCS KITCHEN

CCS Kitchen will be changing its process on any outstanding balances. Purchases at the kitchen will no longer be accepted after cafeteria accounts reach a negative balance of ($20.00). If the balance is too low to continue making purchases an alternative lunch will be offered. We will continue to send balance emails out to notify you when your learner no longer has funds in their account. As we transition to this new process, we ask that all balances be paid off no later than January 31st, 2022 through FACTS or by cash/check. Please contact Kaley at CCSKitchen@crossroadsschool.org if you have any questions.

WELCOME OUR NEW DEAN OF LEARNERS

Such a wonderful Godsend. Mr. Steven Dominguez answered the call to be our new CCS K-8th Grade Dean of Learners. We are so blessed to have him join our list of excellent staff members at our God-first school. Click HERE to learn more about Mr. Dominquez.

MASKS

Given the current surge I would like to remind everyone that per CCS COVID safety protocols masks are required only inside our classroom unless there is a mask exemption on file for your learner. I have a list of those learners who have an exemption and it is updated regularly. In the best interest of our health and safety, please be sure to email Mrs. Luna to file an exemption. If you would like to file an exemption please email nluna@crossroadsschool.org letting Mrs. Luna know you would like your learner exempt and she will add your learner’s name to that list. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
